Bozeman Recreation and Parks Advisory Board

A volunteer board appointed by the Bozeman City Commission

The Bozeman Recreation and Parks advisory board meets on the second Thursday of every month at the Lindley Center at 7:00 p.m.. All meetings are open to the public.

Among the many duties of the board are:

Make recommendations to the City Commission on all matters regarding recreation, parks, open space and trails.
Assist the City Planning Department in reviewing the park and trail design in proposed subdivisions.
Aid user groups in obtaining Park Fund Grants for development of city parkland.
Assist in the development of Park Master Plans for the City's parks.
Support all groups who aid in planning, developing, and maintaining City trails, parks, and recreation facilities.
Work with the City Planning Department to develop, maintain, and modify the City's Park, Recreation, Open Space, and Trails Plan (PROST), Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), and 20/20 Plan.
Take on such tasks as may be assigned by the city Commission.
